Very pleased customer I would absolutely recommend Steam Sweepers. This was my first time using them and the service was very prompt. The serviceman that arrived was cheerful and I watched him load my rug into his vehicle very carefully. He took it away to give it a deep wash and clean and it came back in the terrific color it was when I had first bought it. He also gave me tips on how to take care of my rug after its cleaning. I initially had to reschedule the appointment and they were very flexible with me. They did a really good job and I would certainly use them again.

Steam Sweepers has been doing my carpets for over 20 years. Michael has been the man for the last several and always does an amazing job. Looks like new even though the carpet is as old as 20 years! I had a large area rug that had been given to me by a relative. It was old, and it had not been cleaned for quite some time. I wanted a carpet cleaning company that used the cold water immersion cleaning method, and I got on the internet to find one. The only company that used that method was Steam Sweepers LLC. I called them, and they picked the rug up. They brought it back when they finished, and they did a great job! It came out much better than I expected! They were very professional and efficient people!

Adam was amazing. He came to our house and asked several questions about how the rugs had been used. He gave us a detailed description of one rug we are hoping to sell. He quoted us 2 weeks for the turnaround, but he brought them back cleaned in about a week and a half. He took photos for us of the rug we are hoping to sell and he rolled it around a tube and wrapped it in plastic to prepare it for shipping. Would highly recommend Steam Sweepers. Everyone is so personable and professional! Steam Sweepers LLC has done work for me numerous times. This last time I had their technicians come out to pick up a couple of area rugs at my home. They cleaned them at their facility and returned them back to me. The company's turnaround time is one week which seems reasonable. I heard that they are a little bit higher priced than other companies, but I feel for the quality of work you receive from them that they offer fair pricing. Besides, I really enjoy interacting with them. They are all very nice people at Steam Sweepers LLC. I highly recommend them as their technicians are very professional and so personable. Extremely satisfied This company is great! I have some expensive area rugs that my husband and I have collected over 30 years. One was hung above a fireplace as an artwork and the bottom fringe became discolored from the smoke. When I collected it, the rug was totally clean, shining, like new...beautiful! And Mike Azevedo took 15-20 minutes to explain to me how to care for precious rugs. Things I had never heard before. Steam Sweepers LLC cleaned five rugs for me and did a fantastic job! My rugs look better than when I purchased them. Four of my rugs are vintage wool and the colors came out clean and crisp. I am very pleased that none of the colors faded or ran. They really know what they are doing. I will recommend them to everyone who comments on my rugs. They are brighter than they were before and so soft. They use a chemical process that does not include optical cleaners and that was very important to me. They do full immersion rug cleaning and that is hard to find. Their website was very informative about the process they use and they were so easy to find. I looked at other companies online, but I chose Steam Sweepers LLC because the website was so detailed and when I called they took time to explain their cleaning process to me. They were extremely professional and prompt. The pickup and delivery were right on time.

Steam Sweepers is the best at what they do, hands down. There are two highly rated rug cleaning companies in Whatcom County and I've used the other one, once. Then I hired Steam Sweepers and I will never hire anyone else again. They know the precise science required for both my Oriental rug and my wall-to-wall carpet. Art Thomas trains his people well. Excellent service and fast. I had read an internet article by "the rug chick", about how oriental rugs should be cleaned. Art, and his team at Steam Sweepers, follow those methods. Art took time to talk about my rugs and explain to me what kind of rugs that I owned, and how to care for them (I found the knowledge that he shared fascinating). Could not appreciate more the job Art and company did for us in cleaning 2 - 9' x 12' oriental wool rugs. Fabulous job. Overall very satisfied Our experience with Steam Sweepers was fantastic. They did a really good job! They cleaned the carpet throughout our whole house and everything looks great. There is a small, 2x2 area in the entryway of our bedroom that doesn't look quite as great as everything else. Otherwise, I felt like the fees were very reasonable for the work done. This is the GO TO place for the best rug cleaning available. We had two 9' x 12' oriental wool rugs cleaned - one about 75 years old and another newer one. Both came back beautifully done. Great job In a moment of inattention my dog got ahold of a can of green enamel spray paint and after a vigorous shake, punctured the can, sending paint all over not one but two Persian rugs. Before calling Steam Sweepers I had called a different carpet cleaning service and was told their service would be able to clean my rug and permanently remove the unpleasant odor of a synthetic coming from it. As a result of this response I decided to get a second opinion and called Steam Sweepers. Art (the owner) was able to answer my call immediately. He said he would call me back shortly because he was presently busy with another customer on the phone. He returned my call promptly. He demonstrated reliability with great phone communication. I explained to Art I had a 9'x12' tufted wool rug which began smelling of a strong odor of synthetic rubber. I asked if he would be able to clean my rug to remove the smell. I told him I thought the odor was coming from the non-skid rug pad, and not the rug. Art said the odor wasn't originating from the pad but was coming from the rug itself. Art informed me, although my rug's label said 100% wool, some rugs with defective backings (undersides) were originally made improperly with a particular bad batch of latex adhesive, As a result of this, sometimes they will emit an odor when the carpet ages. He was very honest with me and said unfortunately cleaning would not remove the odor. I thanked Art for his knowledge and integrity. He saved me from the cleaning expense and further problems with my rug. It was my first time I called Steam Sweepers, and I was given clearly understood answers to my rug questions. I also appreciate Art did not make any sales attempt at pressuring me into having my other rugs or carpets cleaned. Art had nothing to gain from my call but he took the extra time to assist me with his valuable knowledge. I followed up the phone call and contacted the high end store where I purchased the rug. The furniture/ design store confirmed Art's diagnosis. The store said they will provide me a new replacement rug for free, due to the defect. The store no longer sells rugs with this latex issue. Thanks to Art again. I would have never thought of contacting the store where I purchased the rug because my rug was a few years old and I didn't know it was defective. Art not only knows about proper cleaning procedures but also knows about rug construction, and it allowed me to move forward with a positive solution. My fine Oriental rugs are looking better. I just moved to Stanwood from Pennsylvania last Fall so I wanted my fine oriental hand woven wool rugs cleaned up for my new condo. I arranged with Art Thomas of Steam Sweapers to pick up my carpets when they were making other deliveries way South of Bellingham. They were able to submerge all the carpets for a thorough cleaning. Wonderful job with our Chinese silk rug. I had a Chinese wool rug that was stained in a flood, and I took it to Steam Sweepers Carpet Cleaning. I had never heard of them before. They were able to get a lot of the stain out. I was very impressed, and asked Art about handling silk rugs. I have a Chinese silk rug that needed to be lovingly handled, and so I took it to Steam Sweepers. They did an absolutely exquisite job. He did everything he could do to the rug that wouldn't risk threatening the fibers. I was really pleased with what he could do for the rugs, and that he acknowledged the limits of what could be done as well. He also told me where to go if I did want to get a harsher, and potentially hazardous, treatment. He really did a marvelous job on the silk rug, and I have recommended everyone I know with a rug to Steam Sweepers. The price was wonderful, and it was incredible value for the goods received. The service was also fast, and I was incredibly pleased with the work Art did.
